How do you know which of our new resources is right for you?
We’ve just announced several new resources available on our website, but how do you know which ones are best for you? In this article, we will explain who may benefit most from each of our new resources and why.
Healthcare Providers:
If you are someone who administers therapeutic injections, our Anatomical Atlas series, available on the Myoguide Academy page, may be right for you. Our three Atlas courses, focused on the head & neck, upper limb, and lower limb, provide a detailed overview of anatomy as it relates to neuromodulator injections and the management of spasticity. Each course comes with an interactive 3D-model that you can use to further explore the anatomy as you learn. The courses share how each muscle should be injected, and what to know in relation to pain level, surrounding anatomy, needle length, etc. These courses are comprehensive tools to improve your knowledge and quality of care.
If you are someone who is interested in expanding your practice to also include medical aesthetic injections, our Medical Aesthetic Injection Considerations and Approaches course may be a great introduction to these services. This course, available on the Myoguide Academy page, focuses on facial anatomy and how it changes with age, using excellent anatomical images to illustrate what is being learned. It goes into great detail about danger zones, surrounding anatomy (e.g., vessels, nerves, etc.), and adverse outcomes. Students gain access to our interactive 3D model of the head and neck, to explore the anatomy as they learn. Along with anatomical information, the course discusses common types of medical aesthetic procedures, facial analysis, and how to reverse certain signs of aging.
If you are someone who treats pain patients, you may be interested in exploring our free patient resources offered on the I-Engage Academy page. This page provides eLearning courses, follow-along videos, and a chronic pain blog aimed at teaching patients pain management skills. You can share this page with patients as a way to support them beyond the care you are providing. It may help them develop self-management skills, so they can cope better between appointments.
Pain Patients:
If you experience chronic pain and would like to improve your pain management skills, the I-Engage Academy may be helpful for you. You can access a wide range of resources for free, including eLearning courses, follow-along videos, and a blog. As pain affects several aspects of life, the resources cover many topics, like sleep, nutrition, relaxation, mental health, coping, self-advocacy, and more.
