Explore the I-Engage Academy Pain Management Video Library
The I-Engage Academy has a video library with follow-along videos for relaxation, stretching, and exercise. These videos are easy to follow, and adaptable for folks with pain.
This article will introduce the three types of videos and explain why they can be helpful for people with chronic pain. The video library is free to access and available any time!
Guided Meditations
Our guided meditations are calming to listen to, guiding the listener through a meditative experience. We offer meditations for progressive muscle relaxation, building self-love, finding a happy place, visualizing, and more.
Each video allows the listener to relax, release tension, and let go of stress, while focusing on detailed visualizations that encourage mindfulness.
Stretching Videos
We currently have three stretching videos that are focused on stretching the hands, fingers, wrists, feet, and toes. The videos guide the viewer through a series of stretches that are gentle and adaptable. The routines are meant to stretch the muscles and tendons, building flexibility and aiming to improve mobility with practice. By stretching regularly, people with chronic pain can reduce rigidity and tension.
Yoga Videos
Similar to our stretching videos, our yoga videos are focused on improving flexibility and mobility. These videos share yoga routines that are beginner friendly, highly adaptable, and low-impact. Viewers can follow the routines from a chair or the floor.
Unlike the stretching videos, these yoga routines have a focus on breathing and mindfulness, allowing the viewer to engage their mind and body during the exercise.
Conclusion
Our video library is an excellent free resource for pain patients, guiding them through meditation, stretching, and yoga. These videos emphasize mindfulness, flexibility, and relaxation, helping to release pent up tension.
We hope to continue to grow our video library, adding more helpful videos in the future. We’d be happy to hear your thoughts and ideas for new videos.
